RetroShare dosya paylaşım programlarına biraz daha samimi bir alternatif olarak geliştirilmiş ücretsiz bir program. Oluşturduğunuz hesap ile birlikte kullanmaya başlayacağınız RetroShare’ın popüler ve bildiğimiz diğer P2P dosya paylaşma programlarına (LimeWire, Ares vb.) göre farkı ise sadece arkadaş ağınızdaki kişilerle dosya paylaşımı yaparak tanıdığınız ve bildiğiniz bilgisayarlardan müzik, video, fotoğraf ve doküman indirme. Böylece çok daha sağlıklı ve güvenli dosya paylaşımı yapılması sağlanırken, arkadaşlarınızla elinizdeki en yeni şarkıları, videoları, resimleri ve belgeleri anında paylaşabiliyorsunuz. Çok sade ve şık bir arayüze sahip olan RetroShare ağınıza kabul ettiğiniz kişiler veya listenize eklediğiniz arkadaşlarınızın dosyalarına direk olarak ulaşma imkanını size sunuyor.

* fixed: enabled  translation for Hide/Expand Button in Messages
* cleaned some debug  text, suppressed a few memory leaks
* suppressed some memory leaks  due to bad use of QMenu
* fixed Folder Age with min_age
* Change  the status bar network display
